As a former CFO, business owner, and ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC), I am excited to apply for your Business Coach / Consultant role. I bring firsthand experience with the financial and personal responsibilities of running a business. Having worked as both a CFO and an owner, I understand that strong revenue does not always translate into healthy profit, reliable cash flow, or freedom for the person in charge. My background allows me to look beyond the numbers on a P&L, ask focused questions, and help an owner connect financial performance to operational decisions and leadership habits.

My coaching approach combines curiosity, directness, and accountability. I serve as a trusted thinking partner who helps leaders identify blind spots, challenge assumptions, and follow through on difficult decisions. I am comfortable having candid conversations while maintaining the trust needed for meaningful change. Owners need someone who understands their pressures and will challenge them to act.

Alongside my coaching credential, I hold a master’s degrees in accounting and education and a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus on accounting information systems. This combination equips me to explain financial concepts clearly, structure learning around practical application, and help people build confidence as they develop new skills. My experience supporting a McLaren Coach Training cohort also informs how I support learning and growth.

  • Partnered with executive leadership to double revenues, expand facilities, and improve profitability during tenure.
  • Administered monthly financial and management reporting process, resulting in more timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepared borrowing base reports for the bank and successfully managed all cash transitions, including the line of credit.
  • Managed the implementation and administration of NetSuite ERP across four warehouse locations, trained users, and customized UI to meet company requirements.  Effectively reduced labor hours spent maintaining accurate inventory reporting and enabled clearer access to funding.
